2009 Derek Jeter Bat with Louisville Slugger 125 Year logo

Jeter only used these type of bats in April and I believe part of May.

That is one awesome bat.

I checked gettyimages and think I found this bat. Check out the barrel end of your bat and this bat in the photo.

If you search on Getty for May 09 I'm sure there may be other photos of Derek using this bat.

I found this one from May 2 that shows the large white streak on the barrel. Pretty awesome to have a photomatched Jeter bat.

Jeter has utilized bats with the 125 Anniversary logo all season. Did someone tell you otherwise?

Jeter's also been utilizing bats from 1999 over the past couple of seasons.

Thanks for all the great comments!! It is a beauty!!

After doing some more research, Jeter primarily used the 125th logo for the majority of April and part of May. Through June and July, he primarily used bats without the 125 logo, with some logo'd bats used. He has gone back to primarily using the logo bats during the series with the Sox.

I have talked to Brian (BMH) and he said he thought Jeter may have had them stop putting the logo on the bat. He wasn't sure, but some players had asked for it to be removed, most saying it was gaudy.
