Baseball:
-ANY PLAYER WHO RESISTED TAKING STEROIDS WHEN OTHERS DID;
-Curt Flood - Stood-up for what he believed was right;
-Johnny Callison - Growing-up in Philly, everyone wanted to be JC. Had a lot of personal tragedy but kept it to himself;
-Joe DiMaggio - because I met and ate lunch with him several times
-Willie Mays - contrary to popular belief, he is a terrific guy

Football:
-Tim Rossovich - No-one can eat glass the way Tim could;
-Vince Papale - Against all odds, he made it because everyone said he couldn't and we both went to St. Joseph's University;
-Bill Bradley - In the day, no-one played as hard as Bill Bradley

Favorite Manager and/or Coach:
-Gene Mauch - Got a bad rap with the Phillies & just missed with the Angels by one out;
-Dick Vermeil - a stand-up guy.

Jackson
..And though I never saw them play,saw them at shows enough times to read about the careers of and admire Mantle,DiMaggio,Williams,and Aaron.
