I haven't yet been bitten by the helmet collecting bug, but your posts have definitely gotten me interested. For now, i remain focused on FSU football jerseys, but I can totally see a helmet or two in my future.

I bought this Michigan helmet from the MGoBlue auction site. It was worn by defensive lineman Jibreel Black against Notre Dame this year. I was able to photomatch it as well.

2012 Jamal Byrd "B-2 Spirit" helmet worn in the Armed Forces Bowl.
and
2021 Wale Lawal Jr "Thunderbird" helmet worn against both Navy and Army to win the Commander and Chief Trophy.

abstractheory - Love the helmets! Glad to see the college threads picking up again. Love Ohio State but also love college football. The B-2 Spirit and Thunderbird helmets are awesome. Really creative how the B-2 is incorporated in to the design on that helmet. You almost miss it if you don't know it is there.

Yeah, the B-2 is absolutely awesome, although some thought it was too much and an overpowering design.

The Thunderbird is all class, and my favorite. Here is a pic of Champ Bailey wearing a real Thunderbird helmet; the one the football creation was representing.

Dedric Willoughby Iowa State basketball jersey. Member of Iowa State's All-Century team. The best part? I found this for $37 bucks on Etsy. I think the seller thought it was a replica, but it is not!

My 1978 Washington Huskies Rose Bowl helmet. Obtained from player. Love the unique (and lazy) helmet paint on the face mask. Unique to the Huskies of that era.
