1968 Oklahoma Sooners Brunswick MacGregor Prototype Stripe helmet with Block OU. Practice worn only. There are only a few of these and I've only seen 2 with the Brunswick decal on them.

Thoughts? I have never seen a Bama clear shell and a former manager from this period told me he had never seen one either.

Looks like the striping and numbers were added recently. I know that on occasion teams would apply numbers and striping on the outside of the clear shell (defeating the purpose all together) but the amount of use, brightness of the stickers, etc.....something just doesn't feel or look right.
