Question about an USC Football Helmet
I p/u this football helmet from an Estate sale this weekend and the person told me his Dad got while he was at USC. Can someone tell about the time period when USC wore this type of helmet.

it's not a usc trojans football helmet, just a helmet made to roughly look like one...

Please give me the reasons why. I did do some photo data base research and found the color is correct, the decals are correct and the facemask is correct. Can you help me out I know that now days they put the team name on the helmet. But like I stated this is an older helmet I figure late 70's to mid to late 80'saeneas01: "it's not a usc trojans football helmet, just a helmet made to roughly look like one..."
