Game used / Signed Helmet display ideas....
Ok I have two Orlando Cabrera GU helmets I would like to display. I also at the end of the month will be attending the New York Yankee Luncheon in Tampa. I will be getting a full sized helmet signed, along with alot of other items. Please show/share your collection and ideas.
Thank you,
Clay

If you look on ebay or search on google, you can buy foam mannequin heads for a decent price. They are usually all white and display helmets well, I don't have photos but I know a few people that display batting helmets that way.
To keep them standing, they fabricated a base with a rod that sticks into the foam head.

..I'm a believer in the IKEA Detolf case. The best part-when it's on sale it's only $29.99 (at least in NJ)..although the light fixture that goes with it will cost you another $15.
Good luck!

Re: Game used / Signed Helmet display ideas....
What kinda stand are you using to elevate them? I like the idea, and would probably need to put 2 per level, so I would need the elevation.

Something like this works well. You can usually find them in a natural finish, in multiple sizes (heights), and for less money.

Re: Game used / Signed Helmet display ideas....
Believe it or not,I used bat tubes cut down to size to elevate them. They cut real easy, and the black rubber "stoppers" at the ends of the tube keep it standing perfect and don't damage the inside of the helmets at all.
Take care,
