    Pete Rose '73-'75 R195?

    Chris or Mike, any knowledge of Pete ordering '73-'75 R195 H&B bats? Measures 35 inches/33 oz. I know he ordered R195 from '76-'79. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Adam

      Hi Adam--

      In mid-1975 H & B designed a new model for Rose off of an Adirondack model 69A. This new model was indexed as R195 and his last 5 orders of 1975 were of 35 inch / 33 to 35 oz model R195 bats-- 54 bats total. Typically they were natural finish, wide grain, and weights marked on the knob. The R195 was Rose's bat of choice for the following 4 years.
