Re: Pepitone P104 while with Yankees
H & B model P104 was first manufactured at the request of Joe Pepitone on
4-6-1966. It was designed off of the Adirondack 194VP. Pepitone thereafter ordered P104 bats consistently until 4/11/1970. Orders were all 35 inches with weights between 31 and 33 oz. Typically bats were wide-grained with weights marked on the knob. Finishes were Natural and Flame Treated..... Between the above dates Pepitone made approximately 30 separate orders of P104 bats, totaling approximately 190 bats.
