    George Brett bat records

    Hello,
Could anyone tell me if George Brett ordered any C271 model bats between 1991-93. If so how many and when and any other details?
    thanks,

Hi Michael-- Yes, Brett ordered many C271 and C271C Louisville Slugger bats between 1991-1993. Model C271 in lengths of 33.5", 34", and 34.5". Model C271C (cupped end) in lengths of 33.5", 34', and 34.5". All were between 31 and 32.5 ounces in weight and had no finish with the exception of an order of 33.5" model C271C bats which were flame burned. Total number of bats shipped to Brett those years was 79 (1991), 144 (1992) and 84 (1993) with the majority being either C271 or C271C.

If you have a specific bat meeting the above specifications, it is eligible for a GUU Certification ($20.00 plus $2.50 shipping) ) that will be able to provide more specific information.

      Mike,
thank you for the info. I do not currently have a Brett C271, I only have a 77-79 T-85 Brett. I appreciate the help. I am always looking for a 1990 Brett gamer though.

That sounds good Michael. The only Brett documented orders in 1977-79 are for T85 and T85S models, both at 34.5 inch length and no finish. For 1990 you are looking for C271 (33 or 34 inches) or C271C (34 inches). Be careful of the 1990 bats and make sure of specific characteristic game use ---there were many promo and Anaconda-Kaye Brett bats produced that year.
