He ordered a total of 39 of them in 2008 & 2009. Mainly in Spring Training.

Thats weird because my bat is a Red Sox bat. It is his clasic dark red color and is uncupped.

The Hickory finish can be very shiny and look double dipped.

Would the hickory finish still have the 2 tone strip in the middle where the bat changes from the natural to the very shiny? This is what my bat has that makes me think its a double dipped bat but ill take your word. Any idea on the date now? Also this bat has some of the same bubbling that Edgar Martinez super glossy bats have happen with time. 33 inches. Thanks again I really appreciate your time.

Oh, that is the UV finish. None of his orders are marked for it so I can't tell you an exact date but I would say anywhere between 2002-2004.
