I'm not BMH nor do I have his shipping records, but I spoke with Ronnie about 2 years ago and he told me that he did use the Gwynn finish but I can't tell you what years it was.

Hmm, according to what I'm looking at record wise, he never ordered the Gwynn finish. It was either clear, Hickory, FT, None or Walker.

Walker is a hickory colored barrel and a wine colored handle.

I'm going to have to erase that last one or at least expand on it some. I had a conversation with some of our older employees and it seems a half dip hickory bat was called a Walker Finish. Some time in the past twenty or so years we added the red handle to the Walker. The half dip Hickory became the "Doug" finish because of Doug Mientkiewicz.

No problem, I have seen people on here before call our half dip bats "Walker" and it's always puzzled me since currently the "Walker" finish is a Hickory barrel and a Wine handle. Names come and go I guess...
