BMH- Jason Romano Bats Records

Hi Brian,

I need a Jason Romano bat for my collection of Devil Rays.

There is a C243 bat of his on ebay right now. It is a light brown with gold imprinting.

But there is no team name on the barrel (Louisville Slugger instead). Plus there is no number written on the ends.

Jason was with the Devil Rays in 2004.

I appreciate any info.

It is the bottom bat in the image. I have no way of telling if he used this bat as a Devil Ray. He played in only 4 games and had eight at-bats as a Devil Ray.

Do you know if he ordered bats with Tampa Bay Devil Rays printed on them?

Ask the seller what is under his signature. Looks like it might be a small number. Also i have had sean burroughs, corey patterson, and other minor league players bats and personally i believe this is a bat from the 2000 season.

Thanks for the article Chris! Very interesting to find out what happens to players after they leave the Show! Too bad there are not better pics of the bat.
