Hello,

How would I go about getting the bat records for Ryan Zimmerman regarding the Rawlings bats he has ordered this year? Will Rawlings share that info???

Hi Brian--

Rawlings records are notoriously difficult / impossible to access, despite several significant efforts over the years to do so. As a result, the authentication of Adirondack / Rawlings bats has been limited to known examplars with significant provenance, and a few references found in H & B factory records for certain players.

That being said, there may be collectors out there with significant info regarding Nationals items (a la Howard Wolf's Phillies, Jeff Scott's Cardinals, Jim Caravello's Yankees, etc.) who may be able to assist. Also, a nicely written letter to either the Nats equipment manager or bat boy just asking for Zimmerman's Rawlings models, lengths, and weights may get you that info...I am pretty sure those individuals don't get alot of autograph request mail.
