Did Freddie use LS S2 in the 1980-83 period? Thanks and thanks for the other info on Lynn. It saved me from wasting some money.

Fred Lynn's personal H & B factory shipping records do not document any shipments of model S2 bats to Lynn for his professional use during the 1980-1983 labeling period. The only documented shipment of S2 bats to Lynn for his professional use was a single order in 1976.
During the 80-83 label period, one Model S2 bat with Lynn's signature (35 inch / 32 oz) is listed as being shipped to Baseball Miscellaneous on 7/21/81. While that may be presumed to be intended for Lynn's use, almost without exception, Lynn's preferred length for his professional bats after June, 1997 was 34 inches, regardless of model.
