Figured out the S44 is a store model bat... Thanks for the info, though.

I wonder if Brian would be willing to share the records for Murph post 1981? I didn't pay a lot for the S44, but was also wondering about an M110 and some others that have been presented to me.

A review of Murphy's records between 1973 and 6/12/81 documents no orders of model S44 bats for him. Records after 6/12/81 are not available...Models ordered by Murphy between the above dates include O16, M110, S2, K55, R133, P72, U1C, K48, K75, B310, U1, and B310C. Additional models may have been ordered between 1981 and his final game in 1993.
