Clarification needed on bat finish desciptions

I have seen bats described as being flame burned, unfinished etc. I have seen bats where the barrel is flame burned and the handle unfinished.

Am not sure what a hickory finish, galen finish are exactly. Can someone describe or even better-- post pictures that provides examples of the various bat finishes that are described in the GUU Shipping records section.

This particular blog dealt with the different finishes and provides photos of each. I found it extremely helpful and informative as usual.
