I also just purchased a very early Hillerich & Bradsby bat from Lou that dates to 1977-1979. The best part of this bat is that it is a W215 model, 2-toned with a brown stained barrel. It is a signature model, Louis Whitaker.

Do you know how many 2-toned W215's he ordered during this period?

My database doesn't go past the mid 1980's sorry.
