labeling question

Hi Guys,
Question about labeling on Honus Wagner decal bats. My boss has a beautiful example that has a slightly different center brand than one that I recently aquired. His has a full "O" in "CO" while my example has a half "o" with underline in "Co". The centerbrand on my example is deep while the other is burned but not as deep. I saw the one that ended on ebay recently but that one had Hillerich & Bradsby Co vs JF Hillerich & Son Co. Just a change in the die or is there another reason for the difference in the JF Hillerich & Son Co. labels? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re the J.F. HILLERICH & SON CO labels with "dash-dot-dash" below, they are documented 1) with both an open "&" and an underlined O in "CO" , and 2) with a closed "&" and no underline under a full-size "O" in "CO" between 1910 and 1915.
