Although the great Buddy Groom was rumored to hit left-handed, he played in 786 games without ever having recorded a single at-bat. Stunningly...er, not surprisingly, Lou Lampson’s photo archive proves otherwise, as illustrated by this right-handed beauty featured in Bricol’s current auction. And despite it being a ’94 issue – 3 years prior to the start of interleague play – it still shows “fantastic” game used. Actually, they spell it “ fantastsic" but whatever. Lou Lampson LOA!

After reading many of the members who are into jerseys and their thoughts about this Lampson fellow, I guess am glad that I am not into jerseys.
