Historic Auctions is selling a 2003 Warrick Dunn "game used jersey"
The #28 on the rear of the jersey seems to be very low on the shirt.
The game photos I have seen of the 2003 Falcons show the rear numbers fairly high next to the black portions under the sleeve. This is far lower. Here is an actual game shot of a Falcons player from that season- note the position of the #8 in comparison to the one in historic auctions
The Dunn jersey being sold by Historic Auctions also features much more space between the numbers and the nameplate- over twice as much.
According to the auction listing "This Size 38 road jersey was used by Dunn in the 2003 season. The jersey shows nice game use including some heavy wear around the neckline and under the arms. Falcons jerseys are extremely desirable and very hard to find. This jersey was sourced directly through Dunn himself. Dunn even signed a perfect signature on the back including his jersey number of 28. The jersey is completely original in everyway with no alterations of any kind."
Any Falcons experts offer any insight?
I would post a link to the auction listing, but Historic Auctions has banned any link from this forum.
