Shocking news out of Souderton, PA ...

It hurts to post this considering everything they've done for our little hobby over the years, but I think our buddies over at Coach's Commode might be trying to sneak one past us:

Tapatalk brings you to people who share your own passions and interests. Millions of members are online now, sharing their expert opinions with others who can truly appreciate them. Tapatalk is different from traditional social media--the people you meet will be as excited by your hobby as you are.

Personally, I'm shocked. In fact, I think MEARS should double check its facts here just to be sure. Guess I'll have more to spend on those eye-popping Jackson, Mathewson and Gibson balls. (Haven't seen any that nice since the last Coach's Commode auction!)

Oh...and big thanks to SCD for showcasing CC on their home page. Were it not for them, I might've forgotten all about these guys.

You would think the auction house would show more pictures of this jersey along with a picture of the letter they say the item comes with.

Dave Grob made it clear, MEARS puts a hologram/sticker on each item even if they feel it is "Unable to Authenticate".

I occassionally bid from them but only if I am 100% sure that the item is authentic.

My issues with them are: They only post a single image, and don't even think about asking for additional images because they will not send them. And, they rarely answer email requests - I am still waiting for a reply from them on an item I purchased Months ago.

I would NEVER consign anything to them for the above reasons but hey, that's only my opinion.

          Jim

What...no George Washington signed baseball in this months auction?
