Olympic jerseys-I stay away from them. Unless it comes right from the player I would just not mess with it. First, there are too many of them out there. Second, why would a player give up his gold medal olympic jersey? I'm just real leary of any and all Bird and MJ Olympic jerseys. My 2 cents.

Greg, I think it is safe to say that there was more than one jersey worn throughout the 92 Olympics, Tournament of Americas, etc.

I assume that each player would keep 1-2 of each home and road. I would estimate there are an additional 4-6 game used for each player floating around plus multiple game issued that were never worn.

I actually think that the procut (incorrect NOB) is rarer than the game issued. However, no one wants the procut as they want their jersey to be game specs - myself included.

If after a game used DT jersey, compare game pic and make sure the following match:
      1. placement of the champion logo
      2. usa basketball font

can anyone else chime in? i've driven myself crazy looking at these the last few days, as I have been offered 4 complete MJ uniforms between two different people.

Agreed, but who knows for sure? Maybe somebody does on GUU, BUT, still too many out there. A personal friend of mine has two Birds from the Olympics and he said he got one of them from Bird's brother. He sent me pictures of it and nothing matched up good. They show up everywhere. I don't know. I just stay away when there's an over abundance of certain jerseys and no good-or legit-paper work or something to go with it.

Air Time - one of my favorites.....especially the segment with the Knicks vs Bulls playoff matchup.

I was hesitant at first to trade my GI but when I saw all the exemplars just like the one sold by REA Auctions, I was glad that I did.

I have not seen a complete BLUE uniform besides the one that MJAuthentic.com sold and the WHITE 92 Olympic Jordan jersey that REA Auctions sold in the past.

The Dream Team uniforms posted here by jordan23collectibles are fake. He attempted to sells these to me for $8k each several years ago. I found out these are counterfeits and were originally sold for $400-800 each and called him out on it - even sent him the detailed evidence. He refused to respond. The 96 Jordan All Star Jersey was also counterfeited. I am seeing these pop up on ebay right and left and can't but help feel badly for the buyers.

I just want to set the record straight and avoid the mudslinging due to a deal that did not go through with Mark (mmonte4). You can talk all you want with regards to saying that my collection is purely fake and you have all the right to say whatever you want. But please have a look at the facts before making a judgement call if an item is a FAKE. I have been a collector for many years now and I enjoy the relationship with other members in this forum but I did dare not bash a fellow member because of a deal that did not go through. I gained a lot of knowledge from the good people on this forum and I based my judgements on Getty Images, programs and rely a lot on forum members and my own instinct when I try to buy my jerseys to complete my collection.

For the same jerseys that you are criticizing, there were 2 of the same jerseys recently sold on Ebay by a fellow member (trsent) Joel and they exhibit the same exemplars as my jerseys.

Collecting is a passion that we all enjoy and I hope that you will rest your case in criticizing but give positive but not attacking remarks to a fellow member in this forum.

At one point in time you posted a similar thread stating that you got a jersey that was tackle twill and thought it was the real thing but nobody criticized you for making such comments on a thread you started.

Let us be fair and life is too short for making such comments.

Yes, the two sold on ebay are the same FAKES that you own Theo. I believe they advertised theirs are "pro cut" (also signed), and started their auctions with a low opening bid which is fine I guess. On the other hand, you advertised your jerseys as GAME WORN and attempted to swindle me out of $16k. Not only this, but you then attempted to sell me a FAKE 96 All Star jersey that originated from the same source. I presented you detailed evidence describing exactly why yours were fake and you simply refused to communicate afterwards (your jerseys were REJECTED by Hunt Auctions prior to offering them to me, correct?). In fact, you continued to post your great "game worn" collection for all to see. I'm not so sure you deserve the positive accolades you're seeking.
