This jersey has been floating around for quite sometime...from a Grey Flannel auction to B&E Collectibles website...I am assuming they consigned it...IMO the nameplate is "off" and wouldn't touch it....

unfortunately, the auction is over and someone "touched it" for $1700 plus BP......that sucks

very true, we hate to see someone throw away that type of money.


as for the nameplate i could not put my fingure on it but now that you mention it it might be a little darker. but they did say when i called they got a tun of questions on it . more than ay other jersey so i dont know how to take that

It could just be the lighting but it appears that the name plate on the Vinateri jersey is considerably darker in appearence against the jersey than any of the other name plates in the 2 photographs that have been posted here. What do you guys think?

Just my 2 cents.

I hope that it is legit however because I'd hate to see someone have to take it on the chin for $1,700 plus the auction commission,...that would suck!

rudy thats from what i gathered as well. i dont see any patritos jerseys around so naturally i am a little cautious. i still was not 100% sold

just sold. i was bidding on it but thought something about the nameplate looked off to me. when i called to ask more about it the rep from hunt did say they had a tun of very specific questions asked about the jersey.
