Baines GU bat authentic?

So, I'm not an expert in the Rawlings bats from the 1980's. Did they sell a player model that had script signature instead of block lettering?

I can attest to the fact that this style Adirondack is legit, with the signature. Whether this specific bat is game used I don't know but I see no problems with it.
