Question Regarding Grey Flannel RIX Jersey

My expertise is modern college football jerseys...ESPECIALLY Nike. This Rix jersey is bad. Obviously the ACC breast patch is not there...but also.....I SUSPECT....cant prove it....the wear on the jersey is manufactured. I know what real wear is....and I know what fake wear is. The wear simply looks no good...and the missing patch impeaches the jersey without further question.

The included photo is from the FSU-Florida game...November, 2004.

Re: Grey Flannel RIX Jersey Is No Good!!

Out of the goodness of my heart I have decided to try and help GF authenticate this Chris Rix jersey. It is obviously no good as advertised because it is NOT from the 2004 season. Photo evidence proves that. Actually I feel that it is from the 2002 season...if at all. Below is a photo of Rix in the Notre Dame game from '02. However...and this was just corroborated by my contact at Nike...the nameplate on this Rix shirt is not genuine. It is "after market". Photo evidence and order records both indicate that FSU used "tightly cropped" plates. The Rix shirt has a full length plate. Bottom line...no good.
