Wow....I just noticed the auction states it is a 2005 gamer...but the size swatch reads "02-50"......unreal. Lou strikes again!

Here is an Emmitt "gamer" that Lou authenticated....from the 2003 season. Its a size 48....but there is magically no 6 inches of body length added! Hmmmm But the year before....Lou tells us that Emmitt wore a larger size....and it was half a foot longer!!! If you notice, this Cardinals jersey was actually CROPPED to make it SHORTER on purpose!!!! What a joke!

Plus the fact that I am fairly certain Emmitt never wore lineman cut sleeves and the font is completely different from anything the cowboys wore while he played there.

By no means am I defending the great 'Lou Lampson', we all know his ethics

In regards to Loomis' comment about it being a 2005 gamer, but was tagged 2003 is not that uncommon.

Players have been know to reuse their jerseys, or use up the extra issued jerseys, in later seasons.

I have a Kyle Orton Bears gamer that was tagged '05 but it was worn in '06. I have the Bears LOA that coincides with this.

Triple X...I am completely aware of jerseys being used in different years than the tagging....but in this case its impossible. Emmitt did not play for Dallas in 05.............the shirt is a joke.

Ok....I have looked at every single Emmitt gamer I can find in a multitude of different auctions. The bottom line is this is one of the worst jobs of authenticating I have seen. This shirt is awful. Smith never ever wore this jersey. Will Historic pull it???

This same jersey was on Ebay not long ago. It ran a couple of times and no one took the bait. Even a greenhorn like me knows this jersey is not real.
