Looks like the helmet has sold. I would have probably stayed away too, with the holgram number missing from the MLB database. If it is real though, it was a great pick up for the price.Leave a comment:

Yea. I agree. If I could get any sort of indication (solid proof) that this particular helmet was actually worn by Jose Reyes during the 2002 Futures Games....I would hit the BIN. I'd love to have this be my very first game used piece and very first Jose Reyes item.
Unfortunately, the MLB auth. number doesn't work. Not sure where to go from here...other than pass on the item. =(
I've contacted the seller to let him know about the MLB auth. number. No response as of yet. It is a holiday weekend so I don't expect a response right away.
Any advice or info from other members here is welcome.

I won't pretent to know anything about helmets. Any opinions on this helmet from those with more knowledge than I would be appreciated.
