    A-Rod gamer

Thoughts on this one? I have never seen grain seperation on a bat like this before. That is grain seperation isn't it? Overall is this a good a-rod gamer? May be interested. Maybe someone could try to photomatch this to april 25th 2006.....getty images had nothing.

    Justin -

Maybe it's just me, but that 'MLB Hologram' would scare me away... it shows definite signs of tampering:

    1) TWO large areas of the holographic foil are missing

    2) The 1st B in the BB designation is half gone

The bat overall looks like its in terrible shape - the 5th picture down in the right row shows a 'line' across (not down) the bat that looks like it was cracked over a square edge or something...

    Just my observations...

    - Chris

      The hologram looks like BB024114.

Shows up as being used 25 April 2006 vs. Tampa Bay Rays

It looks like it was repaired

I think unsigned Arod bats are rarer than signed ones, like a production line. Haha! I wonder how many bats his companies crank out every year. I could never actually trust any homerun item from Arod, I know this bat isnt a homerun bat.

Its a BP bat. His gamers dont have grain seperation without cleat marks all over it. You can tell by the grain seperation that the barrel was really the only spot with ball marks hence the BP use. His gamers should have ball marks all over the left side of his bat.

The hologram on the barrel looks damaged.

The hologram on the knob appears to have been placed over another hologram.

Given these concerns, the other observations shared in this thread, and the threads about this seller's other items, I can't say I'd be jumping at the chance to buy his items. He may have some good stuff, but why take a chance? It's not like AROD gamers are tough to locate.
