I think I'd go through the PayPal channels for the refund. I wouldn't return first, then get refund from them. They burned you once already. I'd trust PayPal more than the seller. Just my opinion.

Do your research, stick with GUU, and be patient... and you'll end up with a nice Glide collection in the end.
Can you please also take clearer photos of this piece in case the jersey ends up somewhere else at "game used"

Yes. This is very rare. "Honesty is such a lonely word." Maybe never seen by the auction house.

Yet the Vintage auction ad/LOA "proclaims" the jersey as "game worn"? Hmm... I'd contact them and send them to pics to see what is up. Just my 2cents. I'd hate to see anyone get ripped off, potentially.

I just got the jersey in today and i've scanned more images so you guys can perhaps help out. The jersey really stinks like sweat once i took it out of the bag - but anyone could of worn it and played b-ball using it.

One thing that i found strange(scanned below) was that there was a another tag attached on the inner side of the jersey, which stated inside:

    Back of that:

Along with that inside there was this pen code tag(as the description states) residing on inner side seem:

So yeah not really sure - if anyone here has knowledge about these jerseys or has got one themselves please help out.

Here's a scan of the logo and tag:

I have no financial interest in the shoes, and I'm certainly not about to guarantee another seller's item, but you can bet BPH will stand behind the shoes. If you want a photo-match, submit them to MeiGray.com (Barry Meisel). Do a search on GUU and you can see the various threads about the photomatching service offered by MeiGray, as well as general threads about what photomatching is.

As for basketball cards, you can't be 100% sure what years those photos are from as the card companies are not as systematic in their production as card collectors would like to believe. Endless mistakes and short cuts are made, whether we're talking Topps, Upper Deck, etc.

No problems man - but i've spent all my stash this month so next purchase i'll look into purchasing this one. Thanks for the informative post.

For cards it be easy to match this particular jersey because of where the stripes is and also the NBA golden logo. Also I think the shorts had the gold logo too in case you cant see the one on the jersey. Is a shame that most jersey of 90 are hard to tell if they are real or not.

I checked out the auction link but considering it doesn't have the relevant COA from known brands, i'm gonna to aviod getting scammed again. Just too risky, unless you have some guarantee it's real.

Btw what do you mean by MeiGray photomatching?

    Cheers.

Drexler, I found the auction I had mentioned to you earlier. You can easily style-match these on Getty (I know, because I considered buying them myself), and MeiGray may be able to photomatch them for you:

Yes i did, out of the 20 different images of Drexler jerseys i've seen picturing him in the jersey the only one i found was this card which does not feature the strip in between - so it's 1 out of 20.

This offers a better view of the one most members a saying is real(doesn't feature the gold logo):
