If I bought something like this would it be worth getting changed back (restored) or should you just keep they way it is?
Says it was wore by Mike ;but has been changed or recycled more than a few times
I'd want more proof that it was, indeed, worn by Henneman. I like Wayne Otto a lot, and have won some nice stuff from him, but I have to admit he is less than stellar at researching his items. Cases in point: an item advertised as a 2000 Marlins BP of Derrek Lee, with no post-1999 MLB neck logo, and size 40 (not 50); and a Mets BP of a #64 which he dates to 1994 which is actually the one-year 1987 road BP style with the script New York front. His stuff is good, but his research and identification ability leaves a lot to be desired.
Personally I applaud their research skills. I bought a "Pat Borders" Blue Jays helmet from Wayne a couple years ago. (The guy at Pro Am actually kept calling him Pat Boone.) They sent some photos of it before I paid. It took all of around five minutes for me to figure out it was Vernon Wells's 2002 gamer.
