Very true. Funny thing is the only 2006 HR bat of ARod’s was a P72 that I know that came up for sale. I'd rather have Jeter's own P72 Model attributed to ARod.

I can understand price on the eBay bat, but what about the other? Is the P72 a model that he doesn't order very much? I know he's traded with Jeter on occasion...
I don’t think its ARod collector but rather Yankee collectors that drive up the demand or both. When you think of the P72 Model, you think of Jeter. When you think of the C271L Model, you’re thinking of ARod's preferrred bat since 2007. You see all his HR bats after he hit 500th HR are all C271L. It's what he used in the World Series. If I'm a Yankee fan and want only 1 bat of ARod, I want a C271L for ARod.

    same model and year.

but inscription "game used" vs "Game used" easiest thing to spot besides location of inscription.

Personally, if you want just one ARod Yankee bat in your collection i would target a C271L Model LVS from 2007-Present with some good use. It's his preferred bat in games.

I have seen the MLB holgram with only the circle and not square attached to it...they used it sometimes in the early days of MLB authentication...I have a GU Marines vs Red Sox ball that has just the circle hologram...

The guy alters the price every time he relists it, last time I looked opening bid was a grand which is a bargain for a signed g/u Arod bat. Now he is using BIN or best offer so if I could not sell it for a grand I doubt he is stuck on the 1,900 BIN.

I dont see the MLB hologram on the bat or the rectangular part is missing.
usually its in the conspicuous near the barrell stamp. unless it that small circular hologram (tampered?)

i dont see much use either.

there were 8 arod bat authenticated on that day for too. bb024111-8 so if you think he used it specifically for that game you are mistaken.
