i wouldnt think powers made the cubs shirts... u would have to wait for warren or dave to chime in tho..

Cub road jerseys from the 50s had CHICAGO in block lettering on the front with a red line underneath.

I'm guessing it could be a Cub minor league jersey, but I doubt it. All the 50s Cub jerseys I looked up were all Wilson or Spalding made and not Powers.

Not a Sauer, by any stretch...should be Wilson from that era, and Cubs used same curvy numeric font then that they do not. Logo shown was the home logo in that era. Posibly a salesman's sample?
