Looking through past ebay auctions and came across this listing that sold today. The listing shows the helmet as number 32 which would be Sandy Koufax. So is it real or a fake. My guess would be a fake because there's no way a Koufax helmet goes for $299. But if it was real someone got a great deal.

Re: Koufax Helmet
Check out minimick07's other listings and tell me if they remind you of anyone. (Here's a hint)
I'd bet a pile of fake Pete Rose caps that it's the same person. Both use private auctions, both buy/sell fighter pilot helmets, vintage car parts and old hats and batting helmets. Minimick likes creepy sock puppets; tim_455qkf likes creepy mannequin heads. The car to the left of the Dodgers hat looks familiar too.
The Reds helmet is an old tim_455qkf listing. The Dodgers cap is minimick07's.

By the way, whoever bought that helmet paid $298 too much. It's probably never been in the same state as Koufax. The seller had it listed for $1k a week ago. No one touched it. The winner here is the seller.Comment
