Its NEWYORK25 bidding up yet another item. The guy is having a great year but he has no track record he needs nine more before anyone can even think of putting him in Cooperstown. And lets be real this season aside he is probably only fourth best firstbaseman in the NL after Pujols, Howard and Gonzalez and maybe even Prince.Comment

Would be interesting if we could figure out who NEWYORK25 is. My guess is that it isn't an individual, but a major company. They also bid up a World Series Howard Jersey to close to around $8000 a few weeks ago. At some point, these become very big numbers for GU jerseys. Any chance any of the mainstream auction houses have decided to collect to sell at a big sports auctions (Sothebys, Christies, etc)? It's almost like the individual bidding has no idea how much this stuff should go for.Comment
