David Ortiz "Gamer" on Ebay

Thoughts on this one??

I have a legit 2008 Opening Day Gamer (at Fenway) from Ortiz through John Taube, and I have NEVER seen Ortiz use tape on the knob like this...but I could be wrong.

So, I am looking for your thoughts...should I take the risk that this is a great find ata great price (with the risk of exposing it to the GUU Forum masses) or is it yet another "questionable" piece of MLB gear...

Ok I am a bit confused by your question. You first state it's legit and then question it.

Is it legit or questionable?

Next have you looked for pics?

If no pics are available have you tried looking for video of the game itself?

I think he means he has a different bat and it doesnt have tape on the nob and his bat is the 2008 Opening day bat. Dont worry, I'm confusing myself. LOL

Sorry for the confusion...

Still on the quest to photo match this bat. almost 100% that it is the 2008 Opening Day/fenway GU bat, but can't get a really good, crisp image from either MLBTV or Getty.

The number "34" on the knob has been worn off, but there are faint remnants of it in either black or silver sharpie.

Any help would be awesome.

I have attached the photo from the site I bought it from last year, but if anyone wants to help out and needs better pics, just let me know.

Thanks...this is my HOLY GRAIL GU item, so I am not giving up until I can either match it or rule it out.
