    Robinson Cano bat on eBay

I would look into this bat carefully. It appears to be one of the Robinson Cano model SSK bats that Melky Cabrera has been using all season.

It looks as if the tape job Melky was using on the bats has been removed. Here is a photo of Melky using one of those SSK bats with the tape.

I agree with this being questionable. I own the exact SSK model bat, used by Cano, and the tape job for him is typically only around the knob, if any. It is similar to the Hanley style. The pine tar look is much too dark on this as well, for Cano being more of the reddish tar from the knob up to under the centerbrand. It would have been clearly applied on the lower handle area where it does look like tape was removed.
And Cano had swapped bats in the past with Melky Cabrera and Jose Molina.
