This seller has a number of Red Sox "game used" items for sale. This Boggs helmet stood out though. While it has his correct number 18 on the back, it obviously doesn't date to Boggs time in the minor leagues. I think they started using this logo in the early or mid-2000's.

STAY AWAY- No way this was his helmet would love to hear his reasoning behind it being Boggs.
