Just curious if anyone knows why 13 of the 18 lots in the Epstein Red Sox collection were withdrawn from the Leland's auctions that ended this evening? Seems like a lot of stuff to be withdrawn so close to the auction ending.

There were other lots that were withdrawn also. A Killbrew game worn cap was withdrawn during the auction. Earlier there was a Carew bat and Dale Murphy jersey withdrawn. Among the reasons that I have heard for withdrawing an item is that there was a problem with the item that the auction house did not know before the publication of the auction catalog.
