Ebay 280604308929: 30-year old forgery

First off, let me declare that the seller is not the source of this fake...he bought it unknowingly from a known seller of bad jerseys from the 1980s (M. Friedman & Sons of Baltimore).

The jersey has, in a fashion inconsistent with any genuine 1978 O's road that I have seen, a hand-inscribed year/set tail notation and a totally improper font for the name and numbers on the back.





Sad to say, this item already has one bidder ($395). I hope he sees this and cancels his bid.

Looks reasonable, but can't say for certain because I can't see the collar and tail tags well enough to be sure.
