'91 Ozzie Guillen

Can anybody provide me with any feedback on this '91 Guillen jersey posted on ebay.

Im in the market for a Guillen. I've just seen a '91 set 1 sell on heritage auctions but didn't pull the trigger beacause with all the photos I have provided I could not photo match it. Im not saying all jerseys should/will be photo matched but I personally didnt feel comfotable with it.

With all the pics I looked at though, Guillen may have used quite a few sets. Cany anybody clarify this for me?

It almost matches with the the Guillen on ebay right now with the exception of the 3rd button sitting a little bit higher on the "3". Or is it just my imagination? Thanks!!

The tagging looks OK, as do the other picturs. I can't discern game use from the photos, but it looks to be team-issued at the very least.

I'm guessing I've seen about five 91 Guillen home jerseys and they've all been set 1. Just because the ebay jersey is a set 2, doesn't make it bad. Like Dave said, everything looks correct but you can't tell if the jersey has any wear to it.

Also, the picture on the Topps card is most likely from late season in 1990. Pictures on baseball cards are typically from the previous season and the Sox started wearing the pinstripe jerseys late in 1990 to close out old Comiskey.

To be precise, the last homestand (6 games) at the real Comiskey Park was the launching pad for the silver/black style (home only). I believe the 1990 versions were tagged in the collar, as a 1991 pocket sked from the team showed a 1990 Fisk jersey on the front with tagging clearly in the collar instead of the usual tail location.

Thanks for the feedback guys, very much appreciated. I know its hard to tell from the pics provided but I do notice dirt staining on the sleeve area inside and out. The numbers do not look to crisp thus showing at least wash wear (I think?). If I decide to pick it up I'll let yous know. Please post anything else you can come up with. THANKS!!
