The number two is no where near any of the pics you posted.

The bat is legit. The signature, at best, is a crappy version of his signature?

Nowhere did I say the sellers #2 matched any of mine. My point was that BJ Upton is an inconsistant signer. Look at my first example. Probably his worst auto, yet it is PSA/DNA authenticated.

So did you contact the seller? If so, what was their response?
Are you the forum police now dude?

Still a shi**y looking two. I have never seen his two look like that before!

If you are so concerned you contact him!

Thank you momen55 for contacting the seller. So the signature was probably an in person auto.

I checked the sellers neutral/negative feedback on toolhaus and none of the sellers neutrals/negatives related to fake autographs. And they've been an Ebay member since 2003.

I also did some research on Uptons signatures and have come to the conclusion that he is very inconsistent signer. He has several variations of his name and #2, including signing his full name (Melvin Emmanuel Upton). Here are some examples of his auto:

So David, did you contact the seller? If so, what was his response?

It is very suspect because, all the exemplars of his signature that I have seen have a very small #2. There is a lack of detail in "Upton".

It is possible it could be a super sloppy version of his autograph.

Personally I would take some olive oil w/ a soft cloth and 86 the signature (real or not).
