    Pujols WBC game used bat sold on ebay

    Any thoughts on the WBC Pujols bat that sold on ebay? That bat has surfaced a couple times. It went for $4000. Would you pay more for a regular season bat or this bat?

      $4000 seems pretty damn high to me... but it looked like a nice bat, and should be able to be photomatched

      I would rather have a regular season stick

          I looked at some Gettys and found some def. possible matches due to the knob end sticker being off-centered. Those were from the WBC. I tried looking into the reg. season but didn't find anything. He did use a black SAM quite a bit that year. Also wondered...since there were gold marks and the bat was uncracke and Pujols used a black SAM some in the World Series......could it've made it that far? I e-mailed the seller and the bat could've been had for 3500.

          Bert, how's the photomatching coming on the 06?
