Any Thoughts On The Carlos Ruiz Game Used Bat On Mlb.com Up For Auction.i Checked The Mlb Number In There Data Base And It Just Says Phillies Game Used Bat -not Carlos- Any Thoughts??

Saw same bat ... Chooch went 1-4 with 3 ground outs and a double in the 9th. I can check tomorrow video from that game if anything seems to show a bat breaking. Tend to take MLB at it's word, but glad to help if I can.

Could have been used in bp ? Or maybe the authenticator found it laying around that night , broken , and couldn't verify who used it .

As promised, took a quick look at Game 1. Chooch uses the light-toned bat in his first three at-bats, then switches to a black-toned one in the 9th. I can't zoom in to do a photomatch, so can't say it's dead on, but hope that extra info helps.
