Hi Guys. In full disclosure, I work for an online auction company that is auctioning off a Matt Wieters GU Rawlings bat and I have a question about the writing on the knob for authenticity purposes. It says M491B, which I assume is the model number. Below that is written 443 08. Is that the manufacture date, [20]08? What is the 443? I want to be able to determine how to read those numbers. I am far from knowledgable when it comes to game used items and I want to provide as much info as possible. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
