    Pujols gamer

Was wondering if you Pujols experts on here have any opinions on this one. I have some money available and would really love to have a Pujols gamer but don't want to get screwed with a fake.

It looks good to me. Looks like one of the bats Pujols put out there a while back. Several have been sold over the last few months.

It's good- sourced through Pujols. Beware, though, some of the bats that came from his last few sessions with KLF Sports are likely BP bats.

It's legit, but a stretch to characterize it as a '2009 MVP season' bat considering the production code of 10/6/09 and the fact that the Cards final game was played on 10/4. The bat was signed December 2010.

The Cardinals did play and Pujols batted in playoff games on 10/7, 10/8, and 10/10/09. So, potentially a very minute chance that he used it in the playoffs in 2009, but most likely not used until 2010. Based on the 10/6/09 production, I was considering this a possible Spring Training candidate and so I did not chase it (I'd prefer a no doubt non-exhibition bat at those prices).

yeah I was the high bidder for a little while towards the end but ultimately it went over my price ceiling.

Yes, I'm taking for granted this is not a post-season bat. Albert had three hits in the 2009 NLDS and there appear to be more than three hits on this barrel. I suppose it's possible he used it in the post-season then continued to use it for BP in the off-season or for ST in 2010, but that seems unlikely.

No chance this is a postseason bat with a manf. date of 10-6-09. I have one photomatched to the last weekend series of 09 and the first game of the NLDS and it has a manf. date of 9-15-09. I've determined you can fugure 7-10 days at least from the manf. date before it reaches their hands. This bat was probably used in the offseason for workouts.
