If you're going to try and pull something, at least make sure you didn't just purchase the helmet you're faking on eBay and have it be in your feedback history with pictures!

Heck he even left the same jaw/ear pads in it! Although he did remove the All American reconditioning shield.

what's the big deal? its says Chicago Bears "style" helmet...and he put on decals, new clips, and a facemask, and started his listing $10.00 over what he paid for the helmet...not really worth complaining about in my eyes....

Incorrect, he states: "THIS IS A GAME USED CHICAGO BEARS RIDDELL FOOTBALL HELMET, DATE STAMPED 11/79. So he IS claiming it was: A) game worn B) Directly from the team C) "traded" to him after being worn.

The only reason he says same style is state it similar to the players he listed, or essentially used to model it off of.

The "style" they are referring to is the "type" of helmet that the list of players they listed wore. They specifically state they got it from one of their "connections" with the team and got it in trade. I don't know how you wouldn't complain about that. The only thing that they claim to have added was the new clips, everything else is untruthful. That is my issue. Below is the description from the auction.

Sorry...I apologize...I didn't bother reading the description, and that's my fault...I just saw the starting price and figured there was no reason anyone would think that was a game worn Bears helmet...sorry again...

Is it possible this is a different helmet? You're talking a turnaround of 1 day to spruce it up and get it listed. I emailed him, and he has piles of Bears helmets. He sent me many photos of his collection.
