I always lean toward the jersey, or item, that has the best documentation. Since I obtained he 2005 jersey straight from USC I have to go with that one. I would like to now the exact game it was used in. My guess it was on turf looking at the type stains. I hope to get time soon to try and photo match it.

The 2003 jersey was used in a game where Reggie had more kick return yards that rushing or passing. It does show more wear and dirt stains. It is autographed and know exactly which game it came from so it has its good points too. I would be just as satisfied with the 2003 if I knew the exact chain of ownership.

It was used on 9/27/2003 vs Cal. There last loss.

I took some time today and really looked the 2005 over. It outside has a lot more piling and small stains than I thought. The inside has plenty of rubs in the shoulder pad area. No tears or repairs.

I spent about 1 1/2 hours tonight on the USC web site, online store photo gallery, and photo matched he 2005 Bush jersey. It was used Oct. 22 vs Washington.

There were only 5 possibilities, away games. I ruled out 2 of the games by obvious wear that was not on mine. There actually is not a lot of marks detectable in the photos on any of the games. I finally started notice that the 5 on the left sleeve was not straight on my jersey and the placement of the SC in the collar was off to the left side. When you nit-pick the front number to collar, the SC and sleeve numbers, all are slightly to drastically different on them. The collar SC is easy to see. I compared all the others, including the ones with the damage, and the Wasington jersey is the only identical match. I am going to email USC and see if they will confirm this.

USC won 51 to 24

Bush rushed the ball 8 times for 51 yds with 1 TD. Caught 2 passes for 18 yds. Returned a punt 84 yards for a TD. Returned 2 kickoffs for 32 yds.
