Dave, the stitch patterns do seem tighter than normal. The attached photo is a 1982 Krenchicki jersey. On the left side of the label on the Krenchicki jersey approx 8-9 stitches are visible. The Seaver appears much tighter with approximately 14 stitches visible. Other Reds road jerseys from this era are more comparable to the Krenchicki. Mike

I'd have to do ore research. The strip tag looks fine, but the stitch stroke on the Wilson tag looks shorter than I recall. If any PC sessions allow me time to make comparisons, I will do so. The jury is out unless someone else can chime in more quickly.
