If you look at the photos of this Bonds Sam Bat, you'll see that the weight in the cup is underlined:

I asked Sam (the one who founded the company) about this bat in particular, and he said that they would put that line only for trophy bats, to signify that the bat didn't actually weigh the amount listed.
Also, the tape on the handle isn't similar to what Bonds was doing by that time (Oct 2001 as the bat's production date). It usually went all the way around the knob.
I'd stay away.
