Ricky Williams Game Used Helmet

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this on eBay?
It's a Ricky Williams game-Used Saints helmet.

Ricks did have a contract with a company called Tracercode.
The main thing that worries me is that tracercode attatched their COA to their items with a zip tie. If you look at the COA, the zip tie is broken off.

The pictures of the signature on the COA seem to match the pictures of the helmet, but I'm not sure enough to bid without asking the GUU community first.

I know I might encourage bidding competition, but I'd rather know it's legit before I bid.

Are you thinking this is Ricky's helmet, or a Saints game-used helmet signed by Ricky?

I never thought of that, but I figured it was used and signed by Ricky.

Are you thinking this is Ricky's helmet, or a Saints game-used helmet signed by Ricky?

"it was worn by ricky williams in a game"

Well, the Saints added a black border to their helmet logo in 2000, so the ebay helmet would have to be from 1999.
All the photos I see of Rickey in 1999 show a different facemask (double top bar and double side clips).

No expert on helmets, but beyond the facemask not matching, Ricky wore a visor throughout his time with the Saints.

Ricky did wear a VSR4 Helmet. Besides not having a double top bar face mask it looks like the helmet comes with a soft cup chin strap (pic 2). The pictures that I looked at (google) only show him wearing a hard cup chin strap.

I am no Saints expert, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn.

I missed the double bar on the face mask.
You are right, I looked on Corbis, Getty, AP and US Presswire, and not one picture of Ricky wearing that style of face mask.

Just too many red flags on this item for me. I'll let someone else take the risk.
